Listen on Alexa smart speaker:
The system we are using to listen to our recordings on Alexa has changed. So, whether you’re new to Alexa or have listened to us on Alexa before, this is what to do:
1. Enable the skill ‘Talking Newspapers’ using the Alexa app on your mobile phone or computer. You can do this as follows:
Open the Alexa app, then select
More > Skills & Games > Search > “Talking Newspapers” > Enable
2. then say ‘Alexa, open Talking Newspapers’
3. then say  ‘Alexa, play Three River Talking Newspaper’ (note ‘Three River’, not ‘Three Rivers’)
4. To move between tracks, you can say ‘Alexa next track’ or ‘Alexa previous track’.
You can use the Pause, Stop and Play functions whilst listening —  say ‘Alexa Pause’ or ‘Alexa Stop’ to stop the publication from playing, and ‘Alexa Play’ to resume playing. Or ‘Alexa Cancel’ to completely exit from the skill.

Listen on Google smart speaker:
You don’t have to do anything special to enable the skill — you can just open it by saying ‘Hey Google, talk to Talking Newspaper’. It will then ask you for the name of the talking newspaper you want to hear, or the name of a place. If you say ‘Beccles’ it won’t work, but if you say ‘Bungay’ it will. Or you can say ‘Three River Talking Newspaper’.
To move between tracks, you can say ‘Hey Google, next track’ or ‘Hey Google, previous track’.
You can use the Pause, Stop and Play functions whilst listening —  say ‘Hey Google, Pause’ or ‘Hey Google, Stop’ to stop the publication from playing, and ‘Hey Google, Play’ to resume playing. Or ‘Hey Google, Cancel’ to completely exit from the skill.
