Listen on Alexa smart speaker:
The system we are using to listen to our recordings on Alexa has changed. So, whether you’re new to Alexa or have listened to us on Alexa before, this is what to do:
1. Enable the skill ‘Talking Newspapers’ using the Alexa app on your mobile phone or computer. You can do this as follows:
Open the Alexa app, then select
More > Skills & Games > Search > “Talking Newspapers” > Enable
2. then say ‘Alexa, open Talking Newspapers’
3a. then, to listen to the Beccles and Bungay Journal, say  ‘Alexa, play Three Rivers Talking Newspaper’ (note it’s now ‘Three Rivers’, not ‘Three River’)
3b. or, to listen to our magazine Waveney Valley Sounds, say  ‘Alexa, play Waveney Valley Sounds’.
4. To move between tracks, you can say ‘Alexa next track’ or ‘Alexa previous track’.
You can use the Pause, Stop and Play functions whilst listening —  say ‘Alexa Pause’ or ‘Alexa Stop’ to stop the publication from playing, and ‘Alexa Play’ to resume playing. Or ‘Alexa Cancel’ to completely exit from the skill.

Unfortunately, it’s no longer possible to listen on Google smart speaker.
