Please note Saturday afternoon, June 20th at Bungay Community Centre in your diary now!
Once again, we invite all our volunteers, listeners and partner organisations to join us for our Annual General Meeting, to be held at 1pm in Bungay Community Centre on Saturday, June 20th.
This is an opportunity to hear all about the changes we’ve been making recently at Three Rivers Talking News and our plans for the future. And, importantly, it’s an opportunity for you to ask questions and make suggestions.
Following our (short!) AGM, we will then celebrate with our Annual Tea Party which is from 2pm – 4.30pm.
This is a great opportunity to formally thank our wonderful volunteers for the great work they do in bringing the local news to our listeners….all this over a cuppa and some delicious sandwiches and cakes. And, of course, there’s always the chance of winning something special in the raffle….so do bring along some cash!
Formal invitations are being sent out to all concerned in the coming week. If, for some reason, you haven’t received your invitation by Monday 1st June, please get in touch with our secretary, Cecilia, and she will sort things out. Cecilia can be contacted on 07483 823 269 and can also make a note of any dietary requirements or help with transport.
Our Annual Tea Party has now become a bit of a tradition, the first one having taken place in 2021, as a post-lockdown celebration of our return to “business as normal” and the move to our new premises at Bungay Community Centre. Things have moved on since then, we have bigger and better plans for the future (hear more about this at the AGM) and we very much look forward to clinking a china cup with you on the day!
